According to the iFANN Global Fame Rankings, he is currently the 87th most famous person in Pro Wrestling, a position he has held steady since the previous cycle. This standing reflects his sustained visibility across media coverage, search trends, and consumption signals worldwide. While his supporters are deeply engaged in discussions regarding match quality and career trajectories, there is no single documented official name for his fanbase; they are generally identified by his monikers "The Aerial Assassin" or "The Best Bout Machine." His Hidden Blade move was inspired by Kota Ibushi, and he once trained with the British Army for a charity event. Visa issues previously banned him from wrestling in the US for several years. A devoted anime enthusiast, he frequently incorporates motifs from Dragon Ball Z and Naruto into his ring gear. The legend of Ospreay as "The Best Bout Machine" is built on verified statistics showing he holds the record for 55 matches rated 9.0 or higher. In August 2026, a pivotal storyline unfolded when Kenny Omega saved Ospreay from a beatdown by the Callis Family on AEW Dynamite, setting the stage for their title clash at All In 2026. That same year, Ospreay won the #OwenCup tournament, a victory widely cited by fans as a key milestone in his journey toward becoming world champion.[modifier]

Ospreay a été principalement élevé par sa mère, qui a occupé plusieurs emplois pour subvenir à ses besoins après la séparation de ses parents quand il était jeune. Il n'a pas d'enfants confirmés publiquement et est actuellement célibataire.[modifier]
