Chris Algieri is questioning whether a four-week drug testing window actually does anything before a fight. His take is that boxing needs testing spread across way more of training camp, since guys are risking their health every time they step through the ropes. Starting the process close to fight night leaves too much of camp unexamined. Canelo Alvarez and Christian Mbilli are both signed up for VADA testing specific to this bout, with the fight scheduled for October 31. Algieri's stance: that window is not enough.
