Blurr phishing loss on Aave and Maker
A phishing script drained a Maker position on Aave that had been borrowed against, and by the time it stopped the whole thing was sitting at the liquidation threshold. Technically solvent. One price movement from being wiped out entirely. That position belonged to Blurr, who says the loss came to $13,000,000. From there he moved fast, protecting what was left and pulling assets off the wallet that had been compromised. The part he still can't answer: what permissions did he actually hand over? Without knowing that, there's no way to be certain revoking access does anything. "They got me eventually in the end. We live, we learn"
