Hong Kong-based Direct-to-Drive Tech has unveiled its multi-unit splicing technology, a system that allows two or more robots to connect and work together as a single coordinated unit. The robots link together using a central magnetic locking mechanism that allows them to snap into place quickly and securely. This approach enables them to handle complex jobs that would be difficult or impossible for a single robot to perform on its own, while also allowing the system to adapt, scale, and reconfigure based on the task at hand.
