Janet Jackson Scream VMA 2009 tribute

par Zimmermann 054: Janet Jackson

Seventeen years after the original context, watching Janet Jackson perform 'Scream' at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009 still carries that same heavy emotional weight. She didn't just honor Michael Jackson; she physically broke through glass while dancing alongside his image as if they were sharing the stage again. The way she moved with MJ's figure made it feel like nothing had changed since that first time, keeping the resonance alive long after the lights went down.
