Kimbal Musk at Ground Zero after 9/11

The kitchen Kimbal Musk was working out of after 9/11 wasn't fully intact, and the meals he made there were for firefighters at Ground Zero. Getting that food to them meant loading an ATV and driving it past wreckage still on fire. That went on for six weeks. What he remembers of the crews is that they showed up without a word, ate, and headed back to the pile. He had been living near the Twin Towers himself.
