India's space tech startup Skyroot Aerospace is about to attempt its maiden orbital launch. The mission, known as AGMIN, meaning the arrival in Sanskrit, is the first test flight of the Vikram-1 rocket. The mission is targeting a 450-kilometer orbit at an inclination of 60 degrees and will carry multiple payloads. The launch will take place from the Satish Dawan Space Center. Skyroot is planning up two more Vikram-1 launches this year. An upgraded version, Vikram 1U is also being prepared for the first quarter of 2027.
