Unitree Robotics has unveiled the A2 Stellar Explorer, a rugged quadruped robot built for tough environments. It can navigate difficult terrain, carry payloads of up to 25 kg while walking, and operate for over five hours or about 20 km on a single charge without a load.

It can carry up to 25 kg while walking and hold up to 100 kg when standing still. The A2 can reach speeds of 5 m per second, handle obstacles up to 1 m high, and climb slopes up to 45 degrees, making it highly capable in rough terrain. Powered by hot, swappable batteries, it can cover distances of up to 20 km or 12.5 km when carrying its maximum payload.
