Mesut Özil Florentino Pérez scandal

Vini Jr. and his girlfriend split rumors have dragged a 2011 Mesut Özil saga back into the spotlight. A leaked recording attributes statements to Florentino Pérez about how Özil's life shifted after falling for an Italian model. The claim says he used a private jet to fly over, managed her affairs, and then returned. That lifestyle reportedly set off José Mourinho, who allegedly lost his cool and spoke without holding anything back. He supposedly told Özil that the woman he was dating had been involved with everyone at Inter and Milan, technical staff included. The quote attributed to him is blunt: Hey, Özil, idiot! I'm going to tell you something as if I were your father. That woman you're with has been with everyone at Inter and Milan, including the technical staff of both clubs. It is wild seeing this specific historical narrative resurface given the current chatter. #MesutOzil
