Filipe Luis regrets insult to Di María

Filipe Luis opened up about the single biggest regret of his career, admitting he wishes he could go back and undo what happened against Di María. The whole situation kicked off right after Filipe Luis joined Atlético for a clash against Real Madrid. Before the game started, Agüero gave him a specific strategy: get close to Di María because he would lose his cool and leave the match, then in the first interaction, talk to him about his wife. Filipe followed that advice, walking up to Di María and cursing his wife while using profanity to say she wasn't what... After the exchange, Di María looked downcast. Filipe Luis claims he won the entire match against him as a result, noting that Di María really did not have a good performance. Once Filipe Luis arrived home, however, the feeling hit hard and he regretted it very much. He is publicly asking for forgiveness, telling Di María directly that he is truly sorry. #AngelDiMaria
