The Dark Knight Joker and Batman rooftop

What if a superhero film was never really about the hero? The Dark Knight plays like a psychological experiment, and that framing is what makes it work. Joker's whole argument: push people hard enough and their morality just falls apart. Batman takes the other side of that bet, insisting the opposite holds true. The outcome lands with terror because both men ended up only partly right, and neither proof was ever fully settled.
