Rockstar writer Alexa D'Agostino on Lucia

The writer behind Lucia at Rockstar Games is Alexa D'Agostino, and the backstory she pulled from was her own. Her mother came to this country as an immigrant, and that experience shaped how she built the character. Lucia comes across as authentic, rowdy, and unapologetically resilient. Instead of sidestepping clichés, the focus stayed on giving her fully realized human flaws. The point was a grounded protagonist who could hold her own next to the studio's most iconic leads, not a stock type. That's the kind of detail that makes a lead feel real instead of forced #LuciaGTA6
