Neymar Jr. buys island off Brazil

Thirteen days of Neymar Jr.'s Al-Hilal wages covered the entire bill for a private island off the coast of Brazil, and the price tag sat at 3.5 million pounds. That's the part that keeps looping in my head. He was still on the books at the Saudi club when the purchase went through, so the salary figure and the island figure are the same number. Buy an island with under two weeks of pay. The luxury here is genuinely on another level, and the math is the wild bit. 🍪
