The Gaza Ministry of Health just released its first official death report since 2022 and the numbers for 2025 are staggering. They registered 24,650 deaths in that single year alone. When breaking down the causes, 70.1% of those recorded deaths were attributed to direct Israeli attacks while only 7.7% resulted from heart disease. The demographic split shows a heavy toll on men, who made up 73.4% of the deceased individuals compared to 26.6% for women
