The move from Professor X and Jean-Luc Picard to a cold-blooded villain is what makes Patrick Stewart's work in GREEN ROOM (2015) land. For years he was the hero, and in this film all that composure gets turned toward something frightening instead. It's a genuinely unsettling performance.
