Raphinha as Brazil's number nine under Ancelotti

Raphinha is reportedly being looked at as Brazil's number nine, which is a fascinating thing to consider given what Hansi Flick already unlocked with him at Barcelona. The role there produced 14 goals across 8 matches, a return that makes the idea less experimental than it sounds. Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly preparing this tactical variant for the national team, and Raphinha logged every minute of Brazil's match against Australia. He wants to start in Brisbane, this time operating as an offensive reference rather than a wide creator. Ancelotti could even roll out a trio of Raphinha, Vinícius, and Bruno Guimarães, which would push Endrick out of the starting XI. Barcelona's side of this is the part that lingers: Raphinha keeps stacking minutes with Brazil, and another friendly in October is already on the schedule. Flick found the formula. Whether it holds up under Ancelotti is the open question.
