Amelia Dimoldenberg used her Saturday Night Live UK monologue to call Ed Sheeran a "red-headed puppet," adding that someone had "with a hand up his arse telling him what to say." The joke landed after Sheeran pulled the pro-Palestine rapper Macklemore off his tour, then went on stage and gave an emotional apology that leaned on a teleprompter. Accusations keep stacking up that he caved to outside pressure while trying to keep politics away from his shows, and the backlash keeps building. Daily Mail / Writer: Samuel
