Raphinha Brazil number 10 and Barcelona captain

Raphinha wearing the Brazil number 10 is the part I keep circling back to. Not because it happened in a vacuum, but because of everything stacked underneath it. A few seasons back, Barcelona didn't want him. That's not a footnote, that's the starting line. From there: club captain at FC Barcelona, multiple championships won with them, a place among the best players in the game, and an actual entry into the Ballon d'Or race. Then Brazil handed him the 10 shirt after Neymar's retirement. If you'd written that script down a few years ago, nobody would have believed a word of it. NOT EVEN NETFLIX DARED TO GO THIS FAR. His last few years don't track logically. They're confusing, and honestly I'm enjoying every bit of it. RAPHINHA IS A TRUE EXAMPLE. #Raphinha
