Cooper Flagg 6'10 at Mavericks Media Day

The official measurement out of Mavericks Media Day is 6-foot-10 without shoes for Cooper Flagg, up from the 6-foot-9 he was listed at during his first season. That is what happens when a 19-year-old is still growing into his frame. Year one with Dallas looked like this: 21.0 points per game, 6.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists. ROOKIE SZN to SECOND SZN, and the MAUS 32 era has the tape measure agreeing with what the eye test already told you. The author's take is that he is poised to become the sport's best two-way player, and honestly the numbers plus a late growth spurt make that sound less like a hot take and more like a schedule update. #CooperFlagg
