Pep Guardiola Manchester City verdict Maresca

The verdict dropped on Manchester City and the timing is genuinely wild. An investigation that had dragged on for years, more than 100 charges stacked up, and now the ruling says the club is guilty on 114 of the 115. What that actually means in terms of punishment? Still no word. Meanwhile Pep Guardiola walked away this summer after a decade in charge, and he's off on his sabbatical year while all of this lands. Did he see it coming? No way to know. But the sequence is hard to ignore. And Maresca is the one standing on the touchline watching it all unfold, which brings up the only question that matters for him: "Why did I accept this job?"
