STREET FIGHTER box office projections

Paramount's STREET FIGHTER was their primary hope to ignite the box office this year, yet weak initial pre-sales had people nervous. Domestic performance landed between two heavy hitters: it beat MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE at $29M but couldn't touch MORTAL KOMBAT 2's $38M opening. The final projection for the domestic debut sits squarely between $30M and $37M. tbh
