World Mining Data 2025 provides the country-level figures for that year where China led with 375,155 kg (375.2 tonnes) followed by Russia at 312,800 kg (312.8 tonnes). Australia produced 296,053 kg (296.1 tonnes) while Canada came in with 191,035 kg (191.0 tonnes). The United States recorded 170,000 kg (170.0 tonnes) ahead of Mexico's 131,842 kg (131.8 tonnes) and Kazakhstan's 131,204 kg (131.2 tonnes). Ghana contributed 125,611 kg (125.6 tonnes), Uzbekistan added 107,120 kg (107.1 tonnes), and Peru reached 100,986 kg (101.0 tonnes). South Africa mined 96,626 kg (96.6 tonnes), Indonesia produced 94,610 kg (94.6 tonnes), and Brazil brought in 86,900 kg (86.9 tonnes). Guinea harvested 75,599 kg (75.6 tonnes), Mali pulled 72,600 kg (72.6 tonnes), Colombia contributed 61,300 kg (61.3 tonnes), Burkina Faso added 57,338 kg (57.3 tonnes), and Tanzania finished with 54,760 kg (54.8 tonnes). Côte d'Ivoire produced 51,185 kg (51.2 tonnes) and Bolivia rounded out the top twenty with 46,615 kg (46.6 tonnes). These twenty nations accounted for roughly 80.8% of the gold production found in the World Mining Data 2025 dataset for 2023. Gold powers industries, builds economies and shapes a brighter future.
