Bryan Cranston Drive 2011 improvisation

Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan wanted their scenes in Drive (2011) to play quieter, so they turned down a lot of the scripted lines. Bryan Cranston caught on to how little dialogue the movie actually had and went the other direction, improvising many of his own lines. That reaction to a sparse script is the part worth appreciating. Gosling and Mulligan pulling back, Cranston filling the space. Math is math.
