Eleven days walking through the Huayhuash, and the stretch that stuck with me was Paso San Antonio in Peru's Cordillera Huayhuash. You're up around 5,000 meters above sea level there. The Andes show off at that height: jagged summits, ice-carved valleys, all of it. Wild is the only word I've got for the whole thing.
