Dune Part Three BFI IMAX queue demand

I forgot to mention this but yeah, my mate was number 125.060 when he joined the queue. Think about it: over 125k cinephiles woke up early mid-week to fight for only 2 DunePartThree IMAX 70MM Early screenings. That’s INSANE demand! Just to attend this demand, The BFI IMAX would need to make available over 250 screenings. With the theatre able to accommodate an average of 5 screenings per day, they would need to have screenings open for booking for 50+ days until mid-FEB, just to attend this morning’s demand! We are not even talking about general audiences which can’t be bothered with early sales and only join the party when WOM kicks in. It’s literally just the hardcore cinephiles willing to buy a NON-REFUNDABLE ticket costing £23.50-£28.00 ($31.70-$37.80) 3 months in advance before even knowing if the film is actually worth it. And just this crowd amounts for over 125k individuals! If received with strong WOM, This thing will have it all to be HUGE in PLF theatres in a way we haven’t seen before other than with TheOdyssey itself.
