Rockstar North development lead Rob Nelson dropped a reality check for GTA 6 because the passive NPC behavior from GTA 5 just doesn't cut it with modern visual fidelity and AI capabilities anymore. The result is that you can only conceal up to two handguns, but holding long guns visibly forces bystanders to act cautiously and move away since police and NPCs will finally react realistically to players carrying weapons openly.
