    U.S. Census Bureau ACS 2024 data ranks states by their foreign-born population and the gap between the top and bottom tiers is stark. California sits at 10.90 million residents, Texas follows with 5.76 million, and Florida records 5.39 million. New York reports 4.62 million while New Jersey has 2.38 million. Virginia lists 1.19 million, North Carolina and Pennsylvania each have 1.09 million, Maryland holds 1.07 million, and Arizona comes in at 1.02 million. Minnesota reaches 524K, Indiana totals 487K, Tennessee sits at 473K, Oregon records 429K, and South Carolina has 351K. Louisiana counts 239K, Kentucky has 238K, Kansas totals 232K, Alabama sits at 231K, and New Mexico reaches 213K. Delaware lands at 122K, New Hampshire at 84K, Mississippi has 80K, Maine sits at 66K, Alaska reaches 57K, and Wyoming ends the list at 20K.
