    Hagia Sophia historical narrative

For more than a thousand years, Muslims were considered the number one enemy of Europe, the Church, and the entire Western world. Shortly after Muhammad's death, Muslims began their expansionist wars. They raided Rome and repeatedly attempted to take the Vatican. They conquered Spain and Portugal. They descended upon France. They turned the greatest temple in the world in Constantinople into a mosque. They kidnapped and enslaved millions of Christians. The fact that most of Europe has lost its faith and now prefers to pretend that none of this happened and that everyone lived in friendship and harmony does not mean that the Muslims themselves have changed. They still have the same mindset as back then.
