    Nepal-Tibet border flood chaos

Flash floods sweeping the Nepal-Tibet border have left roughly 90 Americans unaccounted for after a glacier collapse unleashed a massive wall of mud and water down the valleys on Wednesday. The disaster has claimed hundreds of lives while wiping out entire villages, roads, and bridges in its path. Search crews remain active trying to reach those trapped in the wreckage, though the State Department has confirmed that three Americans have been rescued so far with no U.S. deaths reported. Many of the missing were pilgrims traveling to Mount Kailash, including families such as a mother and her 14-year-old daughter who lost contact when the water struck an immigration post in Tibet. Families and relatives are now waiting for a phone to ring. Source: NY Post / Writer: Val
