Hundreds labeled Ceuta invaders arrived in Ceuta, including 500 unaccompanied minors staying on the Spanish mainland instead of being sent back to Morocco. Madrid previously stated anyone arriving illegally would be returned to Morocco, yet Spanish law requires state care for unaccompanied minors until they turn 18, preventing immediate return. Conservative-run regions in Spain oppose this situation. Brussels states migrants arriving illegally, including children, should be returned to Morocco.
