Ryohei Oiwa G1 Climax 36 press conference

Ryohei Oiwa reflecting on his G1 Climax 36 match against Yuya Uemura, noting the bout lasted over 30 minutes with headlocks, takedowns, and armdrags. He expressed confidence that the performance could fire up Ryōgoku and stated it proved his choice of style was right. Oiwa emphasized that professional wrestling is at its best when everyone is different, highlighting that not everyone can do what he and Uemura did. While acknowledging that Yuto-Ice has strikes and his own way of fighting despite Oiwa's dislike for him, he described Oleg Boltin as a monster. The core message remains that Uemura and Oiwa do what they do, but everyone should fight in their own way.
