The 2026 distributors race at the US BoxOffice just hit 6.8B, which is a +7.3% jump over 2023 and a solid +20.1% ahead of 2025 at this same point. SUMMER 2026 alone brought in $4.2B, sitting just $110M away from beating SUMMER 2019's total. Looking at the YTD rankings, Universal leads with 1.32B while Disney follows with 1.03B. Sony sits in third with 971.6M, followed by AmazonMGM at 557.3M and Lionsgate rounding out the top five with 497.9M.
