A House Republican is urging President Trump to abandon the $14.6 million renovation of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, which has been deemed a failure. The lawmaker suggested an alternative: “Honestly, I think it’d be cool if they just let it go and create an ecosystem, have fish in there and everything.” The proposal would essentially turn the pool into a natural habitat rather than continuing to pour money into a project that hasn't worked out.
