J. Robert Oppenheimer's famous line "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds" was inspired by the Bhagavad Gita, a sacred Hindu text. It echoes Chapter 11, Verse 32, where Krishna reveals his universal form to the warrior Arjuna.
