BTS busan concert ticket scalpers arrested

Busan police arrested 11 ticket scalpers outside BTS’s concert at Busan Asiad Main Stadium, with around 70 officers deployed for a special crackdown. The suspects used admission wristbands to bypass security: they loosened or removed them so they could be transferred to new buyers, taking advantage of busy entry periods when staff focused on wristbands rather than electronic tickets. One South Korean woman in her 40s resold a ticket originally worth ₩220,000 for ₩680,000. Other suspects resold tickets for ₩350,000,₩550,000. Several foreign nationals, including Chinese citizens, were also caught transferring wristbands to concertgoers. All 11 offenders were fined ₩160,000 each under South Korea’s Minor Offenses Act. Police vowed to continue cracking down on ticket scalping at major concerts and sporting events.
