@rogers_jamieUniversal just dropped the first visuals confirming production is officially underway for MiamiVice85. The casting is locked in with MichaelBJordan taking on Tubbs and AustinButler stepping into Crockett. There was a joke about it being a WW84 sequel, but the real update is that the release date originally scheduled for AUG 06, 2027 has been shifted to MAY 19.

The image features two men, Michael B. Jordan and Austin Butler, in a retro-inspired graphic. They are posed against a backdrop of neon pink and purple lines and silhouettes of palm trees, evoking an 80s aesthetic. The words "MIAMI VICE 85" are prominently displayed in a stylized font across the bottom of the image. Michael B. Jordan wears a black shirt and a silver chain, while Austin Butler is in a dark jacket.
