@felix_pPersonality gets treated like a fixed thing, some permanent setting you're born with and stuck with. That's not really how it works though. The people you spend your days around are quietly reshaping how you speak, how you think, the way you react when things go sideways. A healthy relationship can turn someone who was once short-tempered into a more patient version of themselves. Someone who was afraid to speak their mind may gradually become more confident when they're with a person who truly listens. But the opposite can happen too. If you constantly live around someone who criticizes, controls, or makes you feel like you have to be careful all the time, you may slowly become quieter, more defensive, and more doubtful of yourself without even noticing. There's something strange about being human: sometimes we don't realize how much we've changed until we meet the person we used to be years ago. You may start speaking like them, thinking like them, or reacting to situations the way they do. Not because you are weak, but because human beings naturally adapt to the emotional environment around them. The question worth sitting with isn't who you are. It's who you're turning into when you're around the people you keep close
