Andrade contrasts this with his own experience, stating clearly that he never received the same level of opportunity; he felt the door was closed for him even though he won championships during his tenure. Despite that lack of backing, he insists that whenever he did get those ten, fifteen, or twenty minutes on television, he took full advantage of them. He explains that whether he won or lost, he sold himself hard because he knew the public was watching and he still had the goods. He saw others getting chance after chance while he was told things like 'he's already with this one, let him lose a little bit,' a mindset he believes stems from the fact that there are very few opportunities given to Mexican wrestlers. He brings up his friends Humberto Garza and Beto, noting they haven't received real chances either, despite both possessing the good physique, the work ethic, and the charisma needed to be superstars in WWE. When WWE offered him a return involving AAA, he declined it immediately because he didn't want to go back to AAA; he signed with WWE specifically. He acknowledges that AAA is a big company operating primarily at a national level within Mexico, but he emphasizes that it isn't recognized internationally compared to WWE. If you go to Saudi Arabia, nobody knows what AAA is, and if you go to Scotland, they have no idea either. It's not about speaking badly of the promotion, but the reality is that you want to be a WWE star, not just a AAA star. He notes that here in Mexico, people already know him, and even if he didn't fill as many arenas, he considers himself already a star there. He wanted the opportunity to prove himself in WWE, not settle for AAA, especially now that Perros del Mal has been mentioned as a promotion he supports, hoping they do well on their national level. Now that people are asking why he is returning to CMLL, he clarifies he is going back for a date or two, but his focus remains on the bigger picture. He points out that Santos Escobar reportedly never received an opportunity to shine in the way he needed. Then he touches on the sensitive topic of Samoan wrestlers, admitting it might sound bad but noting that some are constantly pushed despite long tenures without success.
