@not_a_newtmass reporting usually targets accounts, not individual posts. if you follow someone their posts land in your home timeline where you can report them to cut reach. activist accounts should follow people pushing bad narratives then report those specific posts to suppress the narrative. you cannot game the system unless the action happens on a post served in the home timeline. directly navigating to a post has no ranking impact and users cannot manufacture a post to show up in their timeline in any reproducible way. #NikitaBier
